Motorcyclist With No Helmet Dies in Crash

A motorcyclist dies in a crash in Vernon parish. It happened late Tuesday night on Highway 1146.

State police say the 41-year-old victim is Jesse Schlomer of Deridder.

Troopers say the man lost control, hit a tree and was thrown from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet.
