Mobile Pantry Teaches Residents Healthy Cooking
It’s a little like the book mobile, but it carries food. The Mobile Pantry Program will serve rural areas.
The Food Bank of Central Louisiana showed off its nutrition on wheels. It will be used in the under-served areas of Central Louisiana to provide food and information for healthy eating.
The Mobile Pantry is provided by grants from Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the Rapides Foundation. It made its first stop this morning in Allen Parish.
