Missing Opelousas Man Found Dead in South LA

class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-36932″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/hiddenSUV.jpg” alt=”hiddenSUV” width=”500″ height=”500″ />A missing Opelousas man is found dead in a crashed vehicle in Jefferson Davis Parish.

Troopers say 63-year-old Carroll Gobert apparently ran off the interstate and hit several trees. The SUV was apparently hidden by the trees. Gobert was reported missing Friday.

Troopers say he was wearing a seat belt, but he may not have been wearing it properly.  The crash remains under investigation.
