Miss. River Balloon Race in Natchez Attracts Large Crowds

It’s time for the great Mississippi River Balloon Race in Natchez, Mississippi.  ABC 31’s Bennett Roland Junior got up at the crack of dawn to try to take his first hot-air balloon ride.

Also, one Natchez-area hotel manager, Walter Tipton, says the Balloon Race fills up the city and creates a huge economic impact for this historic city.

Tipton says there are party suites available at all the hotels for groups who make this event a reunion.
