Mike Jenkins Receives Award for Hotel Bentley Renovations

The Alexandria Historic Preservation presented an award for the renovation of the Hotel Bentley. Michael Jenkins received the Preservation in Progress Award.

Jenkins bought the hotel in October of 2012. Since then, he has been renovating the hotel from top to bottom.

Jenkins shares his thoughts on being recognized for his efforts.

The hotel will have about 92 rooms. Although the rooms, condos and restaurant are not yet completed, the lobby will host an exhibit on the 17th. It will have artifacts from world war two on display for a fundraiser.
