Mid-Week Market Offers Farm Goods, Bread, Other Foods

A new mid-week market for farm goods, bread and other foods is being offered on Tuesdays at the Texas Plaza in Alexandria. Local producers can sell their products at Texas and Jackson from three to six on Tuesday afternoons.

Inglewood Farms had already been setting up nearby on Tuesday afternoons to accommodate those who needed produce during the weekdays.

Other vendors are being sought, and they’re reminded the market space is free. Organizers say this is a central spot in the city for what they’re calling a pop-up market.

They remind everyone that fall produce will soon be here.
