Medicaid Expansion Coming to LA
Governor John Bel Edwards signed Medicaid expansion into law. Louisiana is only the third state in the south to expand Medicaid.
The expansion could take up to six months to fully implement. Eventually, qualified people will sign up for Medicaid at many hospitals and doctor’s offices across the state.
