Mayor Roy Reacts to Fort Polk News
Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy today hails the news that Fort Polk has been spared major cuts in the latest round of base changes. However, he warns the fight is not over, because the Base Re-Alignment Commission work will continue.
The state got word yesterday Fort Polk will keep it’s 10th Mountain Division and the Joint Readiness Training Center.
