Marksville Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder of Police Officer

Police say it all began when 54-year-old Catherine Augustine created a scene at the Circle K on Jackson Street.  When an officer tried to speak to her, that’s when she reportedly accelerated her car and struck the officer, who was not seriously hurt.

She’s charged with attempted murder, among other things.
