Mile Post 71.05; Bridge #840-43-0125-1
Control Section 840-43
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that the Red River will be closed to marine/boating traffic on Friday (July 25, 2014) at 6:00 am and will reopen at 9:00 am on Sunday (July 27, 2014), at the site of O.K. Allen Bridge (bridge number 840-43-0125-1). Accordingly, this section of the Red River will be closed all day and night Friday and Saturday to marine traffic. All boats and other marine traffic will not be allowed to traverse the portion of the river adjacent to the O. K. The Red River at the site of the O.K. Allen Bridge is closed and there are no detour routes available.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
