Man Tased, Arrested for Making Threats at Local Credit Union
Police
Nobody was hurt and the suspect did not have a weapon. However, the man was taken to a hospital to have the taser prongs removed.
No money was taken. Police say he entered the credit union about 2pm and made the threats, which prompted an emergency call.
The man was taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing. Police say they received a routine hold-up alarm from inside the credit union, which is what sent them to the facility on Main Street, not far from headquarters.
The man was still at the hospital late this afternoon, and police were waiting to question and book him.
