Man Drowns, Another Arrested in Boating Accident
A Memorial Day Weekend boating accident leads to a drowning death and an arrest for DWI. Game wardens in Avoyelles Parish say it happened Sunday night.
They recovered the body of 48-year-old David Crocket of Mansura. He reportedly fell overboard when the driver of the boat swerved to avoid an object in the water.
Agents arrested 42-year-old Marcus Logan Senior. That’s for operating while drunk.
Agents say Crocket was not wearing a life jacket.
