Man Arrested for Vehicle Burglary, Theft

Press Release – On July 9th , 2017, the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in reference to a vehicle burglary and theft of goods that had occurred in the 900 block of Bayou Rapides Road.  The complainant reported to have received information that a new employee, Brandon Wayne Glenn, had allegedly taken items from his shop and company vehicles.  The complainant reported that some of the other employees told him that items were also missing from the shop.

The complainant stated he went to Glenn’s’ residence and recovered several items that belonged to him.  After the initial report, the case was turned over to detectives from the Boyce Sub-station for further investigation.  Through their investigation, detectives were able to establish sufficient probable cause that supported the allegations.

Warrants were obtained on Glenn for two counts Vehicle Burglary and one count Theft $750-$5,000.00.  On September 19th, Glenn was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains in lieu of a $6,000.00 bond.

Detectives state their investigation is still ongoing and additional arrests are possible.
