Man Arrested After Allegedly Trying to Run Over Police Officer
Pineville Police arrest an Alexandria man they say tried to run over an officer on a motorcycle.
33-year-old Jamaris Gray was wanted for shoplifting at the Wal-Mart on the Monroe Highway. Police say he fled, tried to harm the officer, and was finally pulled over on Pinecrest.
He’s charged with attempted murder of a police officer, aggravated flight, theft, and reckless operation.
