LSUA Students Participate in Free Speech Zone

LSU alums from the 1960’s may recall a spot near the Student Union known as Free Speech Alley.
Students at LSU of Alexandria now have the same spot on their quad. Those with something to say can step up on the soapbox and talk about everything from the serious to the sublime. It’s modeled after similar places on the campuses in England.
Today was the first time students were invited to attend and exercise their First Amendment rights. This is the first event for Constitution Week at the school.
