LSUA Students Graduate

It’s graduation day for 126 students of LSU of Alexandria.

Doctor Paul Coreil presided over the ceremony, which included 10 summer graduates.  Coreil is the interim chancellor and leads the school’s effort to be selected for the site of the new technical and community college coming to Central Louisiana.

LSU of Alexandria conferred its 14th Distinguished Service award on a local attorney today during commencement.

Charles Weems, III is chairman of the LSUA Foundation and a former chairman of the LSU Board of Supervisors.  He was instrumental in the efforts to convert LSU of Alexandria into a four year school.
