LSUA Receives Almost $3 Million Donation

There’s some good news as the school year is about to begin for LSUA. The school is the recipient of a major gift. Almost three million dollars is being donated from the estate of Anne and John McCann.

McCann retired from the railroads, and his wife Anne was a homemaker.

The money will go to the LSUA Foundation to support the school’s ongoing activities.

The couple created their charitable trust in 1995. Their estate was settled in June. Friends say the two had an interest in education and helping young people.
