LSUA Offers New Teaching Strategy for Student Teachers

The LSUA Education Department is starting a new strategy to accommodate student teachers. This program allows education majors the experience of a real-life classroom for a longer duration than in the past.

Patsy Jenkins explains the new student teaching program.

The program is in response to the common chaos a new teacher might feel when they are in control of their own class for the first time.

This new addition to the education department will have no additional cost to the students or the state. It’s funded by a grant.
