Students, instructors and many other members of the community helped the Generals celebrate their first ever trip to the NAIA tournament.
The first year team defeated Our Lady of the Lake Saturday night to earn their spot in the tournament. The Generals finished the season 27-3.
Coach Larry Cordero was also named Red River Conference Coach of the Year.
