Louisiana Child Dies After Being Left in Mother’s Car

A Louisiana child dies after being left in her mother’s car for hours.  Shreveport police say the three-year-old girl may have spent many as 19 hours inside the car before her body was found.  Erin Buchanan has more.

With an outside temperature of 90 plus degrees, a car quickly becomes an oven, reaching temperatures of over 120 degrees, within just 20 minutes.
Shreveport police say it’s still too early to determine if there will be any charges filed against Crystal Delafosse, who also has two other children.
