Long-Time School Crossing Guard Dies in Accident
Pineville police are in mourning for the death of a long-time school crossing guard at Lessie Moore Elementary who was killed in an accident yesterday.
79-year-old Bobby Bunting, Senior of Pitkin died in the collision, which involved his SUV and an 18-wheeler on Highway 10 in Vernon parish.
State police say it appears Bunting failed to yield to the 18-wheeler as he was making a turn.
