Local Health, Law Enforcement Participate in Ebola Exercise

An Ebola exercise is done with local health and law enforcement agencies. It’s a tabletop test to see if each official knows who to call if confronted with questions about the deadly virus.

So far, there have been no reported cases in Central Louisiana. But, there have been questions, especially since some people work in the African oil patch.

During the exercise, participants are given scenarios to see if they know how to react. These training sessions are being held all over the state.
