Local Football Player Earns Scholarship to Milsaps

A Fort Polk family member inks a scholarship to Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Andru Johnson has been a standout in football at Pickering High during his first year there.

He’s shown here with his coaches, principal, family and a representative of SAI, which connects student athletes to scholarship opportunities.

Johnson intends to major in mechanical engineering.
