Local Car, Truck and Bike Show to Benefit Food Bank

Glass Tint, sick Etc. and O’Reilly Auto Parts will host the Cajun Nationals Car Show September 28-29 with proceeds benefiting the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.   This custom car, malady truck, capsule and bike show will be held at England Airpark in Alexandria.

The spectator entry fee for the event is $10 a day, with $5 off with the donation of five nonperishable food items.  Children under the age of 10 get in free.  The vehicle entry fee is $35, or $30 with the donation of five nonperishable food items.   The show is from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday.  Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, with awards announced at noon.

This is the fourth year for this fundraising event which has raised more than $13,000 and 3,350 pounds of nonperishable food items for The Food Bank of Central Louisiana.  The money and food raised at this event goes to support the Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts in the following eleven parishes: Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Sabine, Vernon and Winn.
