Local Businesses Receive Awards at Annual Bizzies
class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-37363″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/bizzies.jpg” alt=”bizzies” width=”500″ height=”279″ />Businessmen and women and guests gathered over the weekend for the 2nd Annual Bizzies, the business awards made by the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce.
More than a dozen awards were given out. Big winners were Red River Bank as Best Overall Business, receiving the Roy O. Martin Award and Mike Jenkins. Jenkins was honored with a Downtown Momentum Award.
Winners were selected by votes of chamber members and by a panel of judges who represented chambers from other communities.
