From 10 to four, everyone attended Alexandria Zoo functions for free. It was the conclusion of Les Fest weekend, which started Thursday night with an adults-only party and ended Saturday with family day.
The weekend is an annual affair to honor and remember the zoo’s director, Les Whitt, whose statue is in the plaza in the middle of the zoo.
