Leesville Water Department Announces Changes in Hours, Payment Acceptance

LEESVILLE-The City of Leesville Water Department has made changes to its hours of operation and to its payment acceptance policies.

Effective immediately, Leesville water customers who pay their bills online will be assessed an additional service fee of 0.03 percent of the amount being paid. This service fee is being assessed by the third-party online bill-payer provider, not the City of Leesville.

Online bill pay is expected to be fully operational by April 1.

Also effective immediately, the Water Department’s new hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Effective April 1, 2016, the water department will no longer accept payments over the phone.

Payments can be made the following ways:

-In person at the Water Department located at 101 W. Lee Street in Leesville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
-Dropped off at the payment drop box located at 100 N. Fifth Street in front of the 911 Office.
-Mailed to P.O. Box 1191, Leesville, La. 71496.
-Made online at https://leesvillela.mygovhub.com/#/. Please note that online bill pay won’t be fully available until April 1.
