LA Harvest Season Begins

Harvest season has started in Louisiana.  Crops such as rice, soybeans, sugarcane and cotton all get picked from the fields in late summer and fall.  Corn is one of the first crops to get harvested.

LSU AgCenter correspondent Tobie Blanchard has the story.

Louisiana has about 700 thousand acres of corn, a significant increase over recent years.
