Kent House Hosts Jane in June Camp
Young ladies who want to travel back in time are at the Jane in June Camp this week at Kent House. It’s a series of adventures based on the life and times of Jane Austin.
It’s a chance for these girls to be ladies, enjoying tea parties, art work and precisely how to set a perfect table for dinner.
The weeklong camp is for young ladies ages 8 to 12, and the instructors say Kent House is the perfect setting. The girls are learning 19th century customs in a home which depended in the 18 hundreds on the skills and lady-like manners of the women who ran the household.
