Job Fair Held for Military Spouses

Spouses at Fort Polk are treated today to a fair about opportunities available to them. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce foundation, Hiring Our Heroes, and others who want to offer program options for these military families.

All active duty, guard, reserve, veteran and gold star spouses were invited. And, they’re offering a range of information.

Last night, the group was hosted for a networking event to meet business executives, community leaders and the spouses of senior military officers. Today, many could also sign up for interviews and even get help with their resumes.
