Cette fête d’anniversaire inaugure l’exposition de L’Encyclopédie et d’autres objets influencés par le Siècle des Lumières français.
(This birthday party celebrates the opening of the exhibition of L’Encyclopédie and other volumes and objects influenced by the French Enlightenment that will be on exhibit at the Research Center through 2014.)
Diderot sera présent en personne pour nous parler de son travail et de son surprise de trouver ces objets dans les plantations en Louisiane!
(Diderot will be there in person to speak with us about his work, and his surprise at finding these volumes in plantations in Louisiana!)
