Hundreds Attend Natchitoches Christmas Parade

The 88th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Parade draws hundreds of visitors. The state’s oldest city put on a show Saturday afternoon with the parade that is now famous around the world. Native Robert Harling, who wrote Steel Magnolias, was the grand marshal. And he presided over music, food, fireworks, and a lot of fun.

The festival does not end with the parade. There are events scheduled every weekend.

And Natchitoches is officially part of the Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights.
