Hundreds Attend Go Red for Women Event
Go Red for Women entertains and informs hundreds of area ladies today.
Women are the number one victims of heart disease, and, yet, they sometimes do not show traditional symptoms. Today, these women heard from women who have defied the odds and how they did it.
Participants enjoyed a heart healthy lunch, health screenings and a silent auction. The goal of the Go Red for Women movement is to educate and raise money for research. The prime sponsor today was Rapides Regional Medical Center.
