Huey Long Hospital’s Fate to be Decided
The LSU Board of Supervisors has a special meeting scheduled for a week from today to consider a contract for moving Huey Long Hospital to England Air Park. The issue has twice been removed from the board agendas.
Governor Bobby Jindal is privatizing Louisiana’s public hospitals and shuttering the facility in Pineville, which is the oldest of its kind in the state.
