Huey Long Hospital Transforming into Urgent Care Clinics

The transformation of Huey Long Hospital into an urgent care clinic is underway.  This is the first of four temporary buildings to be set up at Huey Long, which is closing.  The buildings arrived in 11 separate pieces.

Eventually, the complex will include an urgent care, specialty clinic and pharmacy, all serving the Pineville side of the Red River.  An urgent care clinic is already set up across from HealthSouth on the Alexandria side of the river.

The construction for these buildings in Pineville is expected to be completed next month.
