Hospital Employee Charged with 1st Degree Rape

Press Release – On October 10, APD officers responded to a local hospital to a report of a rape. When officers arrived, they contacted hospital staff, who said that an employee of the hospital had been caught by another employee while having sex with an elderly patient suffering from dementia. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene and the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Juantavies White, 27, of Alexandria, and was charged with 1st Degree Rape and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other details are being released at this time.
