Hit and Run in Concordia Parish

TRUCKPublic’s Assistance Requested in Locating a Vehicle Involved in a Hit and Run Crash.

Concordia Parish – On Saturday, April 23, 2016, a hit and run crash occurred that has left a pedestrian from Jonesville injured.

Troopers responded to the crash around 10:10 p.m., which occurred on US Hwy 84 near the Wildsville Community. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian fled the scene and has not been able to be located.

Troopers believe that the suspect vehicle is more than likely a white older model GMC/Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup with elongated side mirrors, but are not ruling out a Ford. It is also believed that the vehicle has a fuel tank located in the bed of the truck and is bearing a red out of state license plate.

The vehicle should be totally missing a right side mirror and more than likely one of the passenger side windows shattered completely out.
