Heart Walk Volunteers Rally for Luncheon

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and today volunteers in the forefront of the Heart Walk gather for a hearty meal to rally for next year’s event.

The team captains must organize the groups to raise money for the American Heart Association. This rally is just one of many Heart Walk events to encourage teams around the area to get ready for the walk in March.

Organizers hope to raise thousands of dollars through the one-mile walk for research into the cause and prevention of heart disease.
