Habitat for Humanity to host a Big Ol’ Garage Sale Fundraiser

The purpose of this event is to raise revenue to help support Habitat’s work of building safe, decent, and affordable shelter with working poor families.
The Big Ol’ Garage Sale will begin at 6AM and end at 2PM. The event will also feature a stud sale whereby attendees can purchase a stud for each. The studs will be used to frame the next Habitat house. Stud buyers can write their best wishes and/or blessing to the Habitat family on the studs. Stud purchases could also be in memory or in honor of someone.
The non-profit is still accepting donations of items for the sale from the general public. Donors will receive a donation slip for their tax purposes at the event. Below is a list of items that would be accepted:
-Clothes, Shoes, Coats, Hats, Belts, Purses/Bags
-CDs, Albums, Books, Flower Arrangements/Plants
-Frames, Pictures, Wicker, Vases, Dishes
-Jewelry, Stuffed Animals, Beach Stuff
-Toys, Games, Sporting Equipment, Pet Stuff
-Electronics, Kitchen Items, Dishes, Home Décor
-Bedding, Towels, Curtains, Rugs, Small Kitchen Appliances (i.e. toaster)
-Christmas/Holiday Merchandise
-Items should be clean and in working order.
