Grant Parish Sheriff: Announcement Regarding Flooding

·The Grant Parish Police Jury has closed Iatt Lake and Nantachie Lake.

·Sand and sandbags are available at:  Grant Parish Civic Center, Bynum Fire Station, Zig Slayter ballpark, Nantachie Fire Station, Montgomery town hall, Selma ballpark, and Walker Ferry Rd. fire station.

·People are strongly encouraged to evacuate Louis Sills Rd., J. D. Camp Rd., White Oak Rd., and Will Bryant Rd. due to the high water.

·The Grant Parish Civic Center has been opened as a shelter for people that have been displaced due to flooding.
