Garden District Wide Fundraiser Yard Sale
class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-35489″ alt=”GardenDistrictYardSale” src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/GardenDistrictYardSale.gif” width=”500″ height=”375″ />ALL Garden District residents are encouraged to hold a yard sale from Bolton Avenue to Texas Avenue and Monroe Street to Lee Street & Masonic Avenue ON THE SAME DAY, thus drawing many bargain shoppers to the area.
Cost for participation is $10. The Garden District Neighborhood Foundation will take care of promotion of the event.
MAPS noting the address of each sale will be available at the 1921 Jackson St., A Coffee House beginning March 29th, M-F 6-6, SAT 7-2, and SUN 7-11:30.
Interested persons should REQUEST A REGISTRATION FORM BY EMAILING HEATHER@MATLOCKSUPPLY.COM and submit it with their fee by March 22nd.
Funds raised by the $10 registration fee will go toward GDNF projects.
Our Mission: The purpose of the Garden District Neighborhood Foundation is to promote neighborhood pride, to cultivate a beautiful environment, to build unity between our diverse community, to encourage residents to be engaged and active in our purposes, to preserve a safe neighborhood, to support our neighborhood schools and youth, and to aid in preserving the historic character of our Garden District Neighborhood in the heart of the city of Alexandria.
