Fort Polk Listening Session to Be Held Tomorrow
A listening session to keep troops at Fort Polk will be held tomorrow in Leesville and also at Alexandria City Hall via live stream. Organizers say while the session starts at six, doors at the Convention Hall will open to the public at five to allow enough time for signing in and getting seated.
The session with the Department of the Army represents the last step in the evaluation process before the Army makes a final decision on cutting troops.
The maximum potential cut at Fort Polk is 6500 active-duty soldiers and civilian employees.
