Fort Polk Combat Support Hospital Hosts Open House
FORT
When touring a 44-bed treatment facility like that of the 115th’s, looks can be deceiving. From the outside, the hospital appears as a series of tents, interconnected in a sensible pattern to manage a potential flow of wounded service members and foreign nationals. But once on the inside, it’s easy to see how these modern facilities save the lives of wounded Soldiers.
From landing zones, triage areas, emergency and operating rooms to intensive and critical care areas, combat support hospitals provide top-notch medical technology to the nation’s service members.
