Former Rapides DA Secretary Under Federal Indictment
A woman already charged in state court with theft of funds from the Rapides Parish DA’s office is now under a federal indictment.
Margaurette Hilton Beard will make her federal court appearance before a magistrate in Alexandria on February 9th. She’s accused of theft of federal funds in her role as a secretary in the DA’s office from 1988 to 2015.
