Food Bank, Wal-Mart Team Up to End Hunger
The Food Bank of Central Louisiana is teaming up with Wal-Mart to provide a different type of bowl game to end the football season. Wal-Mart is sponsoring a food drive at 11 stores across Central Louisiana for their first Defeat Hunger Bowl. All donations benefit the food bank. All non-perishable items are needed, especially during the winter months.
Wal-Mart will have five-dollar pre-packed sacks on hand for families in need.
The food bank serves families in 11 Central Louisiana parishes.
