First Weeks Starts for Miss LA 2014
It’s the first week on the job for miss Louisiana 2014.
Lacey Sanchez of Baton Rouge won the crown after competing with 31 other young women all vying for scholarship money. Sanchez competed as Miss Lafayette.
She’s an LSU senior, where she competed on the track and field team.
She is spending part of her time getting ready for the Miss America pageant next January. No Miss Louisiana has ever won that crown, and she says she would like to be the first.
