Fire Destroys Alexandria Home

Alexandria firefighters say a stove is to blame for a house fire early Sunday morning which destroyed a home on Cook Avenue.

Authorities say the home at 331 Cook Avenue was destroyed, and the fire damaged neighboring homes on both sides.

Firefighters say nobody was hurt, but the home was occupied.
