Fire Council Conference Aims to Educate Public on Use of Fire

The 9th Annual Louisiana Prescribed Fire Council Conference was held this week. The goal, to actively promote the use of prescribed fire for its many benefits, educate the public about the use and benefits, and promote safety, training, and research in the art and science of prescribed fire.

The meeting explained information on forestry, how drones are being used, and burn refresher training offerings.
