Fellowship Elementary Students Participate in Easy Child ID System

childprintsThe LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office has a program that could mean the difference between life and death for a missing little one.  It’s a comprehensive file on children with the goal of easy identification in the event of an emergency, called the Easy Child ID System.  The information is stored on a portable disc, which is given to the parents or guardians to protect the privacy of the child.

We caught up with the sheriff and his team while they were going around the parish to create the discs at Fellowship Elementary today.  The program is scheduled for completion by the end of next month.
