Farmers Look Forward to Profitable Harvest This Fall
Area farmers spent this morning learning the latest on the crops they planted in the spring and hope to harvest come fall. It’s the 13th Annual Field Day sponsored by the Dean Lee Research and Extension Center and LSU. They talked corn, sorghum, soybeans and pests.
They’re looking forward to a profitable year.
They also learned from these LSU experts, ways to control the weeds and insects that can also damage crops.
